We-Bore-It Services:
There are numerous options when it comes to underground construction and getting something (i.e. a cable, pipe, conduit, etc) from Point A to Point B and sometimes there are multiple obstacles and conditions inb between that must be negotiated. Most often directional drilling (boring) and/or trenching is the preferred method , but should the job require more specialized equipment and crews, We-Bore-It has the resources to get the job done for you. Your assigned project coordinator will recommend which method may be best for your project, but the final decision of course rests with you the customer.
Directional Boring, Directional Drilling, Horizontal Drilling, Horizontal Boring, HDD Directional Boring: Often referred to as "trenchless technology" utilizes special machines that install underground conduit with virtually no impact to the surface area, disruption to traffic flow, landscaping or structures. Conduit size typically ranges from 1" poly or PVC to 12". Larger diameter boring, rock boring or sleeving projects require larger equipment and are more involved to complete. Directional Boring offers the best option for high traffic or sensitive areas without causing disruption to traffic flow, landscaping or structures. Once the crews clean up it will look like they were never there. Best utilized in residential and commercial zones.
Trenching Trenching: Trenching units vary in size and utilize a boom on the back that has cutting blades designed for specific soil or rock conditions. The trench travels along churning up the earth and creating a trench. Depending on what is being buried the trencher will create a open slit in the earth about 6"-12" inches in width and a depth ranging from 24" to 60" depth. The crew will then "place" the cable or pipe and back filled the trench. This method of burial is best utilized in more rural areas such as along roads, through fields, and in new construction zones.
Vibratory Plow, Plough, Ploughing Vibratory Plough: Ploughing units utilize a large vibratory plow that can pull and feed cable and/or conduit into the earth at depths of 24" to 48". The size and power of these machines makes it ideal for long runs of direct bury, where it can easily plow through soil, sand, clay and rocky conditions. This method of burial is best utilized in more rural areas such as along roads and open fields where underground utilities are not problematic.
Vacuum Excavation Hydro Vacuum Excavation: Is a technology that uses water or air pressure to break up soil and debris so that it can be safely extracted by vacumn. This technology significantly reduces the risk of damage or injury while exposing buried utilities. Vacumn excavation is efficient and works very well in urban environments mitigating risk of injury, damage and costly restoration.
Micro Tunneling Micro Tunneling: This advance technology allows for the installation and placement of large metal or concrete casings to be placed as the tunnel unit is boring. The boring head pulverizes the materials and breaks it down into a slurry, where is is pumped back to the control station and filtered out. This trenchless technology allows for incredibly long runs of steerable boring, with minimal impact or interruption to the areas surrounding the staging and operations areas. We-Bore-It tunneling diameters range from 12'' to 48'' inches in diameter.
Concrete Coring Concrete Coring: We-Bore-It is often ask to go beyond underground construction and to actually breach a foundation, wall or ceiling of a structure by performing both vertical and horizontal coring. Typically the diameter of the bore ranges any where from 2" to 10" inch diameter cores. Larger concrete coring, sleeving and cutting projects are available for quote.
Underground Utility Locating Private Utility Locating: Is a service for the locating of private utilities and other hidden assets that are not directly associated, installed or controlled by electric, water, phone or gas utility companies. We-Bore-It will provide a private locating professional to survey and map out your job site or property.

Customer Endorsements:

"We-Bore-It helped us with a major project where we needed to directional bore from a bluff, under a 200 year old mansion that was a historic structure overlooking Lake Michigan. The bore had to go under the foundation (not through it!) and come out 50 yards beyond.
We-Bore-It pulled back a six inch pipe to help control water spill that was threatening this amazing historic landmark - job well done!"

J. Roberts, (IL)

"We learned about We-Bore-It from a postcard we received in the email. From our first call to them, we could tell we were working with a first rate operation. They were professional, responsive and the customer service we received was perhaps the best our company has experienced in 20 years of construction."

J. Peace, (WI)

"I was referred to We-Bore-It online after our fifth contractor had again "humped" yet another roadway. We were tired to gambling with unknown and unproven contractors. We-Bore-It has been providing us with quality service and directional bore crews for two years now. All I can say is I wish I had found them earlier."

S. Lavine, (MO)

"Great Job done for our library. I have already given your company's name to another library to use you for their upcoming project."

S. Draegert, Grayslake Public Library (IL)

"We needed to get an electrical service line under a second driveway and pool so that we could have electric in our back yard. I thought this project would be too small for anyone to want but We-Bore-It took our calls and two hours later I had a quote. The price was so good that I had to call them back there had to be some kind of mistake! They called in utility locates for my property they were at my home three days later. After they finished they cleaned up the area, put down some grass seed in two small areas where they drilled and that was it. What a company. I have since referred three of my neighbors to them and they too have been equally thrilled with their directional boring and trenching services!"

Janet Williams, (IL)

"Very satisfied with the work completed by We Bore It. Everything was completed to his satisfaction. Will use We-Bore-It for any upcoming jobs."

Tres Odell, (NM)

"Very happy with job done. Crew was very polite. Cleaned up the job site very well. Was glad to see everything restored to its original appearance."

Janet Tillman, (IL)

"I was a fire department Captain who worked mostly in Milwaukee's inner city; I whipped many a poor specimen into shape to become a member of my A team, but some did not need to be driven. No, they did not simply do their best in the worst of situations but, rather, they did what it took to get the job done, regardless of their personal cost. The two men working on this project from We-Bore-It were such individuals. They persevered despite many difficulties of the project, they and their company have proved their worth under fire."
